WEEKLY YOGA CLASSES

Flourish Yoga evening classes offer a classical approach, based on Patanjali's 8 limbs of yoga. The asana (yoga poses) practice is a gentle hatha style. Each class incorporates yoga poses (asana), breathing practice (pranayama), self enquiry, meditation and relaxation.  

Classes are suitable to all levels with variations offered throughout and students encouraged to work within their ability and honour the philosophy of least strain for the most gain.

Casual classes available - $25.

BYO mat and a blanket, for relaxation.

2018 Term Dates

Term 1: Monday 29th January to Thursday 12th April (11 weeks)

Term 2: Monday 16th April to Thursday 28th June (11 weeks)

MID YEAR BREAK - first 2 weeks of July

Term 3: Monday 16th July to Thursday 27th September (11 weeks)

Term 4: Monday 1st October to Thursday 13th December (10 week term due to no classes Cup week, in November)                           

COME ALONG AND TRY YOUR FIRST CLASS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR THE TERM. First class $25, adjusted to pro-rata term fee, for new students enrolling.

I’ve just completed an Intro to Meditation course with Nicky which I really enjoyed. I am finding it so beneficial, both for handling stressful times for work & at night to help get me back to sleep at 3am when my mind starts racing away.
I also decided to try the free yoga class she was offering & loved it. I thought I might get a bit lost during class, but I think she is a perfect teacher! She gently talks you through the moves & reminds you of your breathing rhythms. I didn’t feel out of place with the other more experienced students either. I’m now going weekly & just loving it.
